SpellForce: Conquest of Eo - Patch 1.5 adds modding support!

The latest patch for SpellForce: Conquest of Eo isn't just about fixes and tweaks; it's a journey into customization and creativity. With over 80 enhancements, balance tweaks, and bug fixes, this update not only enriches the base game and its first DLC, Demon Scourge, but it also introduces modding support on PC, empowering players to shape their adventures.
To start creating their own mods, players can now dive into the Mod Developer Guide and the Mod User Guide, conveniently provided as PDFs in the game's installation folder or accessible through the Steam Forum. From crafting new items and status effects to designing unique unit promotions, the only limit is your imagination.

In a twist of fate, we've also made it easier than reciting an incantation to create localized versions of the game. Our modding guide makes it as simple as casting a spell! With the newly added modding tools, SpellForce: Conquest of Eo invites you to embark on a journey of limitless enchantment.

The rise of a Demon-Lord: SpellForce: Conquest of Eo Demon Scourge out now!

With 25 new units, including a whole new faction of Trolls as well as a variety of powerful demons, our mage will have no shortage of new enemies and allies for your mage. Over 30 new promotions bring a massive amount of variety to your units, helping them to face the over 120 new adventures and missions this DLC contains. A new Troll hero, whose fate is intertwined with a powerful troll clan, as well as eight new locations await. Demon Lords have established themselves in the world, changing the very essence of the regions they control, and can be powerful allies or terrible enemies. Your game will never be the same again….

A Demon-Stration of Power: SpellForce: Conquest of Eo gets new DLC

A new threat rises in the lands of Eo. The upcoming expansion for the turn-based strategy game SpellForce: Conquest of Eo will introduce a new mage class, the Demonologist, with its very own way of playing the game and a unique set of spells.

Trolls pour down the mountains, driven from their ancestral homes, and lay waste to cities and settlements in their way. This new faction will introduce new troops and allow you to try out new tactics on the battlefield.

Also new are sinister Demon lords who boldly establish their domains in plain sight, extracting the very life force of the land for their malevolent objectives. Will these powerful invaders prove to be allies or adversaries in your quest?

Oh, what a ride we had over the last year. Not only did we get a new SpellForce game in the canon Story-Line, we also have experienced the 20th anniversary of the SpellForce series! It was quite a year filled with exciting news for the old and new games alike. Let’s have a little summary of what we got this year (official and community wise):



But also, the next year has something already prepared for us! Like the new DLC for SpellForce: Conquest of Eo or the documentation video-series of SpellForce that is in the works. The next year also brings some challenges, like the Steam-Client not supporting any Windows Version older than Win 10.


Many users will not be able to install the older legacy games on their systems anymore if they are steam owned. But do not worry, we have you covered and can provide support for such a case at the > forum <.

Today we celebrate a very special anniversary! On this day 20 years ago, SpellForce (The Order of Dawn) was released to the public and started one of the most amazing gaming series and universes the world has ever been blessed with. SpellForce offers a rich, deep and alive universe with many factions, history and events that cannot be found anywhere else. Over 50.000 years of history and lore, and over 100 locations waiting to be discovered!

To celebrate this day, we have prepared a special announcement to provide the SpellForce community with a unique look back of over 20 years of SpellForce:

    Good news everyone! SpellForce: Conquest of Eo drops patch 1.3 today for PC and releasing on PlayStation and Xbox on November 7th!

    The free patch 1.3 has been published today, adding new content and features to the game:

  • Quest overview – allows you to quickly find and navigate to active quests on the world map
  • A new hero: Galtrak, the orc blood mage brings his own kind of magic that may even unlock new spells for your wizard…but they come at a price
  • New world locations: The sullied village
  • Strong performance improvements to optimize your experience on lower-end systems and speed up loading times
  • Improved gamepad functionalities and guidance

As longtime SpellForce veterans we have made it our goal to reconstruct the good old SpellForce website including the forum using the original database and new hosting software.
